Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) To calculate the value of water loss in the primary canal in the D.I Haekto Irrigation Haekto area. (2) To calculate the percentage of irrigation efficiency in the primary canal in the D.I Haekto Irrigation area. The method use in this study is a qualitative approach with a field study type. Data collection techniques use are observation and documentation. Futhermore, data analysis techniques use in this study are Data Collection, Data Reduction, and Conclusion Rrawing. The conclusion of this study is: (1) The amount of water loss in each segmen is P1 = 7,21%, P2 = 3,09%, P3 = 11,16%, P4 = 5,05%, and P5 is = 5,61%. With the largest water loss occurring in segment P3, which is 11,16%. Water loss due to evaporation is P1 of 0,000000351 m³/sec, P2 of 0,000000339 m³/sec, P3 of 0,000000328 m³/sec, P4 of 0,000000323 m³/sec, and P5 of 0,000000357 m³/sec. With the largest evaporation value in segment P5 of 0,000000357 m³/sec. (2) The percentage of efficiency in each segment is P1 = 92,79%, P2 = 96,91%, P3 = 88,84%, P4 = 94,95%, and P5 = 94,39%. With an overall efficiency value in the primary channel of 93,58%.
