Abstract

The development of the NTT province is directed towards border areas with a focus on tourism and agriculture, as stated in Presidential Regulation No. 18 of 2020. Malaka Regency, which is a border area, is undergoing such development. The utilization of various green open spaces, which have been converted into residential and development activity locations, is certainly reduced due to the development. The issue taken in this case over the last five years aims to map the green open spaces in Betun, Malaka Regency, in the form of a web portal based on a geographic information system. The method used is satellite image acquisition assisted by Google Earth with time series land cover data, compiling it in a Geographic Information System layer on the web page, including additional information in the form of photos and descriptions to achieve results such as the availability of a web portal for information on land cover changes in green open spaces in Betun, Malaka Regency.
