The kosu brought at the wedding reception is considered a symbol of loyalty between both families. The family hopes that the money given during Kosu can be used effectively as initial funds for the bride and groom in building a new family. The Kosu tradition has been a cultural asset for the people of Kupang Regency, especially the Amarasi area, for generations. This tradition is carried out on the night of the wedding party at the opening of the entertainment program.
