Abstract

Theobjectivesofthisresearchare:1)Tofindoutadescriptionofrefillwaterdemandforconsumerincome,familymembersandrefilldrinkingwaterpricesinMerdekaVillage,KotaLamaDistrict,KupangCity.2)TofindoutthesimultaneouseffectofConsumerIncome,NumberofFamilyMembersandPricesontheDemandforRefillWaterinMerdekaDistrict,KotaLamaDistrict,KupangCity.3)TodeterminetheeffectofpartialConsumerIncome,NumberofFamilyMembersandPricesonRefillWaterRequestsinMerdekaDistrict,KotaLamaDistrict,KupangCity.ThisresearchusesQuantitativeData,atypeofdatathatcanbemeasuredorcalculateddirectly,intheformofinformationorexplanationstatedbynumbersorintheformofnumbers.SourceofdatausedinthisresearchisPrimaryData,thatthesourceofdataobtaineddirectlyfromconsumers.Inthiscase,consumerswhoconsumedrefilldrinkingwaterinMerdekaSub-Districtbecamethesampleinthestudy,withasignificantlevelof5%.Therewere75samplesinthisstudythenprocessedusingEviews10andanalyzedusinginferentialstatisticswithfourtests,namely1)Classicalassumptiontest2)Multiplelinearregressionanalysis3)Testhypotheses4)Analysisofthecoefficientofdetermination(R2).Theresultsobtained:Revenue,NumberofFamilyMembersandPricessimultaneouslyhaveasignificantandpositiveeffectonRefillDrinkingWaterDemand,IncomeandNumberofFamilyMembersPartiallyhaveasignificantandpositiveeffectonRefillDrinkingWaterDemand,whilePricevariablespartiallyhaveanegativeeffectandnotsignificanttoRefillDrinkingWaterRequests.WiththeResultsoftheDeterminationCoefficientGoodnessoffittest(R2)of0.656515or65.65% DependentVariables(RefillDrinkingWaterDemand)canbeexplainedbyIndependentIncomevariable(X1),NumberofFamilyMembers(X2)andPrice(X3).Whiletheremaining31.17%areexplainedbyothervariablesnotincludedinthisstudy.Withtheresultsofthisstudy,itisrecommendedthatmanagersofRefillWaterDepotsinMerdekaVillagebeabletopayattentiontothequalityofwaterproducedandimprovetheservicesprovidedtoconsumers.
