Abstract

The main problem in this researchis how to drawingskills of junior high school students in terms of learning styles. The purpose of this researchis to describe the geometrical drawing skills of junior high school students in terms of learning styles.This type of researchis a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques carried out by providing learning style instruments, Tugas Pemecahan Masalah(TPM) to students and interview guidelines. After knowing each student's learning style, the visual learning style, auditory learning style and kinesthetic learning style. Each student works on the TPM then an interview is immediately carried out regarding the results of the student's work. In this researchthree female students were chosen with different styles.The assessment of geometry drawing skills is based on two indicators namely being able to understand the properties of a flat figure and drawing a known shape based on the properties of a flat figure.The results of this researchindicate that drawing skills for students of the three types of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles have the same level of skill, but they do the TPM a little differently according to the catchment of each of these students and with different time durations. this research is expected that teachers should also pay attention to students' learning styles so that they can quickly capture information and lessons.
