Abstract

This study sought to;1) Hou is the application of Make-a MatchandProblem Posinglearning model on functions and Relations learning material towards grade VIII students at SMP N 5 Kota Kupang,2) know howthe mathemathics learning achievements of grade VIII students who were taught by applying the make-a match learning model on learning material Fungtions and Realations at SMP N 5 Kota Kupang, 3) ) know how the mathemathics learning achievements of grade VIII students who were taught by applying the problem posing learning model on learning material Fungtions andRealations at SMP N 5 Kota Kupang, 4) know whether there were differences betweenstudents’ learning achievements taught by applying the make-a match and problem posing learning model on learning material Fungtions and Realations at SMP N 5 Kota Kupang. This was a quantitative study. The samples of this study were 2 (two) classes of 6 (six) exsisted grade VIII which were selected randomly by using Cluster Random Sampling. The type of the data in this study was premier data which was taken by doing a learning achievement test with 20 (twenty) multiple choice questions. Multiple linear regression analysis technique was applied. Partial test result at learning motivation showed that pretest data at the make-a match class Dcount =0,149and posttest data= 0,150, pretest data at problem posing class = 0,157, with significant level 5%which means that normality test data from make-a match and problem posing classes were normal, at homogeneity test data count= 14,052 dan at significant level5% yang berarti bahwa = 0,008=at significant level5therefore the data were homogeneous, while T testtherefore, it can be concluded that there was no significant difference.
