Abstract
This article discusses cases of attempted criminal acts in the legal context in Indonesia. By examining various famous cases, the author analyzes the legal formulation that applies regarding trials. The main focus of this research is to understand the elements of trials in accordance with Article 53 of the Criminal Code. Through in-depth research, the author hopes to provide a more comprehensive understanding of criminal justice and its application in legal practice in Indonesia. Constructive criticism and suggestions are highly anticipated for the advancement of knowledge and understanding in the future. It is hoped that this article will be useful for readers, especially law students, legal practitioners, and the wider community who are interested in understanding more deeply about criminal justice.
