Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the effect of SDM type cooperative learning models on student mathematics learning achievement on the subject combined and sliced two sets of academic year 2019/2020. This research was conducted in one of the state junior high school in Kupang regency with a population of class VII of two classes. The sample of this study was class VII A, amounting to 24 people who were randomly selected from the population with simple random sampling technique. The instruments in this study were achievement tests in the form of multiple choice questions of 30 items. The data analysis technique used is parametric statistics using SPSS 22 program assistance. Based on the results of observations and achievement indicators obtained student achievement is classified as very good. T-test results show tcount = 18.159> ttable = 2.069 with a significance level of 5% which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the SDM type cooperative learning model on mathematics learning achievement of junior high school students.
