Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe bullying, the forms and factors that cause bullying among students. Case study on students of the State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) in Kupang City. Respondents in this study were two students who were victims of bullying, six perpetrators of bullying, and three teachers of MAN Kota Kupang. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation and reference adequacy. Validation and reliability of data using techniques: persistence of observation, checking through discussion, triangulation of methods, triangulation of data sources, and triangulation of theory. Data analysis techniques are carried out on a case by case basis, using the steps of studying information, creating the necessary data classes, relating existing theoretical foundations, making conclusions. The results showed that the form of bullying that occurred at MAN Kupang City was verbal bullying, the factors that caused bullying behavior among students at MAN Kupang City were family factors that were less harmonious, incomplete (parents died or divorced), imperfect socialization processes from family, communication that is not smooth between parents and children, and parenting that is not fair the impact, socialization of anti-bullying programs, there is a system or mechanism to prevent bullying
