Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are expected to be the driving force of the village economy. For this reason, one of the important things for BUMDes is to provide clear and transparent financial reports for all village communities. The results of discussions with village officials and BUMDes administrators showed that most of the BUMDes administrators still had difficulties in making financial reports, this was evident from the previous period's BUMDes management financial reports which had not been prepared until now. This then affected the performance of the BUMDes management for the next period who then hesitate to take policies that were still related to the previous management program. The target of this activity is to increase the capacity of BUMDes management by conducting financial reporting training according to good and correct accounting standards. The methods used in this training are lectures and hands-on exercises with various case examples. The results of this activity shows that increasing the capacity of BUMDes management with training in simple financial reports is very useful and helps BUMDes to improve their performance.
