Abstract

This training aims to provide skills to youth members in using computers that are not used as server services so that they add insight and knowledge and can be used in new business fields such as internet service providers for the surrounding community. The method applied is in the form of 20% lectures and 80% training so that youth members can understand better and are equipped with knowledge about computer management and computer administration as an open source-based server service. An evaluation was carried out before and after the activity to measure the level of understanding of the youth members regarding the explanation of the material given both in lectures and in direct practice. The evaluation results in the form of pretest and posttest showed that all members of the youth organization were able to understand well all the material and explanations given by the tutor and based on the results of a satisfaction survey with the implementation of this kind of training, it was found that 90% of the youth organization members expressed satisfaction and hoped that such training This can be held again because this training is very beneficial for their lives and adds life skills.
