Abstract

This study examines the Strategy of the Education Office in Reducing the School Dropout Rate in Lembata Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Education Office’s strategy works in reducing the school dropout rate in Lembata Regency. This study uses the strategy theory proposed by Fred R. David (2011). The research method applied is qualitative with a deductive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the Education Office’s strategy in reducing the school dropout rate in Lembata Regency has been carried out comprehensively through a planned approach, implementation involving various stakeholders, and collaborative evaluation.
