Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum by the Dikmen has determined that the division of the departement starts from the beggining of registering. In SMAN 1 Kupang, the determination of this depertement is not judged by the interest of the students but using other criteria. Therefore, the use of Decison Support system can help the Senior High School, especially for new students admission the right majors for each students. The model used is Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) to determine the weight value of each attribute, and the Decision Support System (DSS) method used in determining this departement is the Et Choix Traduisant La Realite (ELECTRE) method. With the criteria of the national Mathematics examination value, Sciences, Indonesian, English and the score of the social science school exam Junior High School. The result obtained in the form of DSS for determining majors for new student in SMAN 1 Kupang which can help the school in working on division of depertements efficiently and effectively.
