Abstract

Labor, as a component of human resources, is one of the critical factors in determining the success of a construction project. Labor productivity determines the value of labor coefficients, which in turn affects the unit price analysis of construction work. This study aims to examine the differences in unit price analysis resulting from variations in labor coefficients and to compare them with analyses based on the cost estimate (Rencana Anggaran Biaya or RAB) and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The research was conducted on the construction project of a new classroom building at MIN TTU. Data collection was carried out through direct field observations over a period of seven days on five work items, with the aim of obtaining data on the number of workers, working hours, and labor productivity. The results show that the labor coefficients for craftsmen and workers observed in the field are lower than those in the RAB and SNI. These differences are caused by variations in production output and the number of workers, resulting in a significantly lower unit price analysis in the field compared to the RAB and SNI.
