Abstract

Cervical cancer is a cancer that appears on a woman's cervix. Cervical cancer ranks first in Indonesia. The high number of cervical cancer cases in Indonesia is related to the lack of public knowledge about cervical cancer, the lack of information about where the examination can be obtained, the amount of pap smear examination rates is considered difficult to reach, especially the lower classes. In East Nusa Tenggara the number of women who underwent cervical examination with Visual Acetate Inspection (IVA) method was still very small, namely 14,743 people compared to the total number of women in NTT, namely 613,017 people. Based on the above problems, an expert system is made to determine the risk of web-based cervical cancer. This expert system is implemented using the PHP programming language, and MySQL database using the forward chaining method and certainty factor. This expert system is able to display the results of consultations based on answers from users. With the expert system determining the risk of cervical cancer can help the people of East Nusa Tenggara know the risk of cervical disease early
