Abstract

The experimental method is used to demonstrate science material to make it easier for students to understand physics. This study aims to determine the increase in interest and learning outcomes of students by using physics teaching aids on the subject of pressure. This research was conducted at SMP Teologi Kristen Tarus Kupang. This study uses media props. The sample used in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique with a total of 18 class VIII students. The tools and instruments used in this study were teaching materials, learning implementation plans, student worksheets, physics teaching aids, test questions in the form of multiple choice questions, and student interest questionnaires. Data collection techniques in this study were tests in the form of questions and presentation of questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that using visual aids can improve learning outcomes and students' learning interest in the material of pressure.
