Abstract

The purpose of this studyis to know the skin content of halay plant stems. This studi was conducted using UV-Vis and IR extraction, chromatography, spectrophotometry methods. Extraction of 200 grams of halay plant bark dry powder in the acquisition of 1 gram n-hexane viscous extract with 0,5% rendement. N-hexane masseration yield residu in extraction again and obtained methanol condensed extract 31,40 grams with a 15,7% rendement. Phytochemical test result suggest that positive n-hexane extract containts alkaloid and positive methanol extract contains alkaloid and terpenoids. Methanol extract in partition using chloroform solvent and taken phase chloroform. The analysis to chloroform phase, eluen KLT i,e., chloroform methanol (4,5:0,5) to know the presence of alkaloid tested with drof dragen reagent. Further purified by colomn chromatography using the same eluent. Fractions acquired in KLT again with the same eluent. The fractions that have the same spot are combined and in the bulkhead are then analyzed using UV-vis and IR. The results obtained from analysis with UV-Vis Spectrophotometry and FTIR, isolates are thought to be alkaloid compounds containing N-H groups in wavenumbers 3361.93 cm-1 and 3379.29 cm-1 , C-N in wavenumbers 1026.13 cm-1 and aromatic C-H in wavenumber 769.9 cm-1 .
