Abstract

TheSynodoftheEvangelicalChristianChurchinTimor(GMIT)hasbeenestablishedfor72years.ItisaplaceforgatheringsandplacestostrengthentherelationshipbetweenProtestantChristiansontheislandofTimor.TheGMITSynodconsistsof6classes,oneofwhichistheKupangcityclass,whichincludesKupangandAmarasi.GMITSynodisexperiencinggrowthandgrowthespeciallyintermsofincreasingthenumberofcongregations.Itdidnotruleoutthepossibilityofcontinuingtoexperiencedevelopmentintheyearstocome.Thedelayindeliveringinformationisaproblembecausethemanualmethodisnotaccessibletothewholecongregation.Inaddition,datamanagementintheGMITSynodrequiresaninformationsystem.Theinformationsystemcanbeatooltofacilitatethedeliveryofthelatestinformationtothecongregationaboutthestateofthesynodandworshipschedules.Inaddition,thesubmissionofmonthlyorannualreportsfromeachchurchiseasierbecauseeachchurchwillbegivenoneaccounttoaccessthesystemanduploadreports.
