Abstract

Regency of Timur Tengah Utara (TTU), more precisely the city of Kefamenanu is one of the cities that borders directly with the State of Timor Leste and has many tourist attractions and diverse cultures, of course this has its own interests for tourists who want to visit and enjoy the natural panorama and local culture. The problem that often occurs in the Timur Tengah Utara (TTU) more specifically the city of Kefamenanu is a problem in finding hotel locations, this causes tourists to not have accurate and relevant information so that they do not know which locations have lodging or hotels that are closer at an affordable cost. For this reason, a web-based geographic information system is needed to help tourists in seeing the location of the hotel through Google Maps, making it easier for users to find the location of the hotel. This research uses the waterfall method with the PHP programming language, MySQL database and in making maps using google maps. Through this website visitors can search information such as seeing the cost of renting hotel rooms, facilities, booking hotel rooms and also seeing tourist locations in TTU.
