Abstract

Posyandu is a self-help from the health sector with a responsible village which is a place established by the community for the community as a complement of public health facilities to reduce infant mortality and infant mortality, besides Posyandu also has an important role as a forum for basic health services for the community pregnant mother. In Malacca Regency there are 127 Posyandu located in Malacca District. During this time the posyandu mapping process in the Malaka District Health Office has not been available and the data collection in the Malaka District Health Office about Posyandu is still done manually and has not used an internet-based system so that it makes it difficult for the public to get information on Posyandu services regarding weighing schedules, posyandu names, posyandu addresses, Posyandu location, date of establishment, name of cadre, number of babies, number of children under five, number of pregnant women. Based on the above problems, a system is created, "Geographical Information System for Mapping Posyandu Locations in Malacca District Based on Web". The method used is the Waterfall model which is carried out systematically and in order starting from the analysis, design, coding and testing stages. The system is built based on WEB using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this geographic information system, it is able to present information to the community based on posyandu data, posyandu names, posyandu addresses, weighing schedules, standing dates, cadre names, posyandu locations, data on infant numbers, the amount of data for infants, the amount of data pregnant women can display information quickly and geographically accurate to visitors.
