Abstract
Lika Ita Rambu Haja1)Maria Aloisia Uron Leba2)Anselmus Boy Baunsele3) FKIP Kimia. Universitas Katolik Widya Mandira Kupang. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how to improve students’ high order thinking skills in chemistry learning. The method used in this paper is a literature review of students’ high order thinking skills that can be developed or enhanced through the teacher’s role of student activities during class learning, namely guided inqury approaches provide opportunities for student to develop high order thinking skills in which guided inqury learning has the following stages problem formulation, compiling hypotheses, collecting data, analyzing data and concluding.
