Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the factors that influence students' cognitive learning outcomes. The technique of asking the teacher is a number of ways by the teacher to ask questions to students by paying attention to the character and background of each student. Cognitive learning outcomes are the values obtained by students. Problem-based learning model is learning that uses real problems as a context so that students can learn critical thinking in problem solving and are ableto develop problem solving,material and self-regulation skills. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) How is the critical thinking, the questioning technique of the teacher and the results of cognitive recognition of the participants by applying the problem-based learning model of the basic material elasticity to students in class XI MIPA2? 2) Are there any partial effects on critical thinking and techniques on asking teachers about cognitive learning outcomes? 3) Are there influences in the case of critical thinkers and techniques asking teachers for cognitive learning outcomes? The objectives of this study were: 1) Describe critical thinking, techniques for asking teachers and results of cognitive recognition of students by applying problem-based learning models of basic elasticity materials to students in class XI MIPA2 of SMA Negeri 7 Kupang in the odd semester of 2018/2019 academic year. 2) To know the effects of the critical thinking and the technique of asking the teacher about cognitive learning outcomes. 3) To determine the simultaneous influence of critical thinking and the technique of asking the teacher for cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is descriptive and associative research. The place of data collection is the SMA Negeri 7 Kupang. The research variable is critical thinking and the technique asks the teacher as an independent variable while cognitive learning results as the dependent variable. The research instrument is a study result test sheet and questionnaire. Based on the results of descriptive and asosiatis analysis, in general it can be concluded that critical thinking of students is categorized as high enough, the questioning technique of teachers is categorized as good and cognitive learning outcomes of students are categorized as complete. There is the influence of critical thinking on students 'cognitive learning outcomes and there is an influence of the technique of asking teachers for students' cognitive learning outcomes. There is the influence of critical thinking and the technique of asking the teacher for students' cognitive learning outcomes.
