Abstract

The guided inquiry approach is an approach that trains students to find and find out for themselves the problems they will learn with the guidance of the teacher. Thus, students do not feel confused because in finding or finding a problem in accordance with the questions prepared by the teacher. The main problem in this study is how the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of simple aircraft on students of class VIIIA Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang? Specifically, this problem can be formulated as follows: 1) How is the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the guided inquiry approach to simple aircraft subject matter? 2) What is the completeness of the indicators of student learning outcomes, by applying the guided inquiry approach to simple aircraft subject matter? 3) What is the completeness of students' learning outcomes during the learning process, by applying the guided inquiry approach to simple aircraft subject matter? 4) What is the response of students to learning activities, by applying the guided inquiry approach to simple aircraft subject matter? The main objective in this study is to describe the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to simple airplane subject matter in class VIIIA students of Junior High School Penfui Kupang . Specifically, the purpose of this study is 1) Describe the ability of the teacher in managing the learning process by applying the application of guided inquiry simple subject matter to class VIIIA students of Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang. 2) Describe the completeness of student learning outcomes indicators by applying the application of guided inquiry simple airplane subject matter to class VIIIA students of Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang. 3) Describe the completeness of the learning outcomes of students during the learning process by applying the application of guided inquiry simple subject matter to class VIIIA students of Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang. 4) Describe the response of students to learning by applying the application of guided inquiry simple subject matter to class VIIIA students of Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang. This type of research is descriptive research and the subject of this research is the teacher (researcher) and class VIIIA students of Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang, amounting to 29 people. The learning tools used are syllabus, learning implementation plans, learning materials for students and student worksheets. The instruments used in this study were learning planning observation sheets,learning implementation observation sheets and learning evaluation evaluation sheets. Data collection techniques are observation,tests and questionnaires. Data analysis technique in this study is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the research data shows that in general the guided inquiry approach is good for Business and Energy subject matter in 29 students of class VIIIA Junior High School Angkasa Penfui Kupang. In detail obtained the ability of the teacher in managing physics learning simple aircraft subject matter which includes learning planning, implementation of learning and evaluation of learning is optimal. Indicators of learning outcomes prepared as many as 16 cognitive indicators, all completed. Learning outcomes of students in a class are said to be complete on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects as well as the response of students to the implementation of learning activities conducted by the teacher is very good.
