Abstract

Cooperative Teaching and Learning Mode TPS Type is simple cooperative learning that gives students time to think, answer, and help one another and improve students 'personal communication skills needed for students to process internally, organize, and maintain ideas and share students' ideas. The main problem in this study is how the results of the application of cooperative learning model type TPS simple aircraft main material for students of class VIIIA Kupang country junior high schook Semester Academic Year 2018-2019 ?. In detail, the formulation of research problems can be described as follows: (1) How is the teacher's ability to manage learning activities by Applying a TPS Type of Cooperative Learning Model? (2) how is the cooperative skills of students in learning by applying the Cooperative Learning Mode Type TPS Simple Aircraft Material? (3) How is the completeness of the Learning Outcomes Indicators of students by Applying the Cooperative Type TPS Learning Model (4) How is the completeness of the learning outcomes of students by Applying the TPS Type Cooperative Learning Model? (5) How do students respond to learning activities by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model? The aims objective in this study was to describe the results of the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model simple aircraft basic material for students of class VIIIA ountry junior high school 4 Kupang the even Semester Academic Year 2018-1919. In detail the research objectives can be described as follows: (1) Describe the ability of the teacher in managing learning activities by Implementing a TPS Cooperative Learning Model; (2) Describe the cooperative skills of students in learning by applying the Cooperative Learning Model Type TPS Simple Aircraft Material; (3) Describe the completeness of the Learning Outcomes Indicators of students by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model; (4) Describe the completeness of students' learning outcomes by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model; (5) Describe the students' response to learning activities by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model. This type of research is descriptive. Subjects in this study were teachers (researchers) and students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 4 Kupang in 2018/2019 school year totaling 32 people. Research subjects(students) were determined by purposive sampling technique. While the instruments used in this study are observation of learning management observation sheets, cooperative skill observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, assessment of affective and psychomotor learning outcomes and student response sheets. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis including calculating the average score, proportion, and percentage. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the results of the study were generally in good category. In general described as follows: The ability of teachers to manage learning by applying TPS type cooperative learning models which include learning planning, implementation of learning, and evaluation of learning included in good categories. The cooperative skills of students include being in assignments, taking turns and sharing assignments, encouraging participation, listening actively, asking questions or answering,and collaborating all within the range of average limits of effectiveness. Indicators of learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) prepared as a whole are complete. Learning outcomes of students (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) prepared as a whole are complete. While the response of students to the implementation of learning by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model which includes 5 aspects is in the very good category. Based on the description above shows that the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model for simple aircraft subject matter for students of class VIIIA odd semester 2018/2019 school year can be applied properly.
