Abstract

Cooperative learning is a learning model where students learn together in small groups consisting of 4 to 6 students are equal but heterogeneous, ability, gender, ethnicity or race each other and contribute to each others thoughts and responsible for the achievement of learning outcomes individually or in groups. Each group consists of high-ability learners, medium, low and sexes. The main problem in this research is how the application of cooperative learning model TPS subject matter Straight Motion learner class XI science? in detail the problems in this study are: (1) How does a teacher's ability to manage the learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS Motion Straight subject matter? (2) How cooperative skills of learners in learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS? (3) How completeness Learning Outcome Indicators (IHB) in learning by implementing cooperative learning model TPS? (4) How mastery tests Learning Outcomes (THB) learners in learning by implementing cooperative learning model TPS? (5) How do students respond to learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS? The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the application of cooperative learning model TPS Motion Straight subject matter on class XI science learners. In detail the objectives of this study were (1) to describe the teacher's ability to manage the learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS, (2) to describe the cooperative skills of learners in learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS; (3) Describe the completeness of outcome indicators for learning (IHB) learners by implementing cooperative learning model TPS; (4) Describe the completeness tests learning Outcomes (THB) learners by implementing cooperative learning model TPS; (5) Describe the student's response to the learning activities by implementing cooperative learning model TPS type. This research is a descriptive study and research subject is the teacher (researcher) and the students of class XI Science High School Accredited Private PGRI Ajara Kupang year 2018/2019 with students numbering 20 people. Learning device used in this study is the syllabus, teaching materials learners (BAPD), learning implementation plan (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD), kisis-lattice and achievement test (THB). Research data collection techniques are observation, tests, and questionnaires. While the instruments used in this study is the observation sheet management of learning by applying cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TPS), achievement test (THB), observation sheets cooperative skills, and response learners. Engineering analysis of the research data is quantitative descriptive analysis includes average scores, percentages, and proportions. Based on the results of a descriptive analysis of the data showed that the general application of the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share ( TPS ) is good for the subject matter in motion Straight students of class XI Science High School Accredited Private PGRI Kupang, amounting to 20 people. In detail ( 1 ) The ability of the teacher to manage learning activities that include: lesson planning, instructional implementation, and evaluation of learning that everything is in good category. ( 2 ) Skills cooperative learners include: being in charge, taking turns and sharing tasks, encourage participate, ask/answer, and active listening, in general and on average are on the limits of effectiveness defined. ( 3 ) Indicators of learning outcomes prepared everything finished product. While indicators of affective and psychomotor learning outcomes overall conclusion. ( 4 ) Results of student learning overall product thoroughly and an increase in the proportion of correct answers. Meanwhile, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of students overall quasi- complete. ( 5 ) The response of students towards learning by implementing cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) is generally very good.
