Abstract

The purpose of this study are (1) To determine the effect of land area, selling price and capital partially on the income of corn farmers in Tarus Village, (2) To determine theeffect of land area, selling price and capital simultaneously on the income of corn farmers in Tarus Village .This study uses quantitative data and data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data with a significant level of 5%. There were 86 samples in this study and then processed using Eviews 10 which were analyzed with data analysis techniques, namely 1) Qualitative Descriptive, 2) Inferential Statistics consisting of multiple linear regression analysis, 3) Classic assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, heterokedasticity test and autocorrelation test. 4) Hypothesis test consisting of t test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2).The results of this study were obtained partially land area variable(X1) with t arithmetic of 3.003056, variable selling price (X2) with t arithmetic of 1.745083 and capital variable (X3) with t arithmetic of 6.081355 positive and significant effect to the income of corn growers in Tarus Village. Simultaneously the variable land area (X1), selling price (X2) and capital (X3) affect the income of corn farmers in the Tarus Village with a calculated F value of 25.95371 and the probability of 0.000000. With the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.868288 or 86.82% the dependent variable (Maize Farmer Income) can be explained by the independent variables Land Area (X1), Selling Price (X2), and Capital (X3). While the remaining 13.18% is explained by other variables not included in this study.The conclusions aresimultaneous and partial variables Land Area, Selling Price and Capital have a significant and positive effect on the income of corn farmers in the Outahan Tarus, Kupang Tengah District, Kupang Regency and based on the results of the research above it is expected 1) Corn farmers are advised to further increase their corn yield, by using superior seeds, efficient use of fertilizers, land, capital so as to increase their income by minimizing losses, 2) Corn farmers' income which is influenced by land area, selling price and capital is expected to get attention from the government to provide subsidies to farmers such as subsidies on fertilizer, so that prices reduced fertilizer and reduced farmers' production costs
