Abstract

Camplong is one of the conservation areas that is part of the Camplong Nature Park area. Camplong is located on the outskirts of the highway that connects the city, district and hilly areas. The majority of the people in Camplong Village work as farmers, the high rate of illegal logging in this village has caused many people to lose their livelihoods location, the rice fields which are a source of income for them have to just disappear due to river erosion. The total damage affected in the Camplong Nature Park area, especially in Oebola Village, was 6 damages that occurred around the area. The aim of this study was to determine the level of community knowledge about the impact of forest damage in the Camplong Nature Park. The method in this research was observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study showed that there were 6 damages, namely forest clearing, illegal burning, illegal grazing, illegal logging, illegal logging, and erosion.
