Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the results of learning chemistry in the material for the reaction rate of class XI IPA 2 SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang by applying the Discovery Learning approach based on practical field experiences in the 2019/2020 school year. The samples taken were stu-dents of class XI IPA 2 at SMP Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang in the 2019/2020 school year. The type of study used in the writing of this paper is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is obtained: a) learning out- comes in the knowledge aspect (KI-3) are declared complete with an average score of 86,1 b) learning outcomes in the skills aspect(KI-4) is declared complete with the acquisi-tion of an average value of 85,36, c) overall learning outcomes, namely the knowledge aspect (KI-3) and the skills aspect (KI-4) are declared complete with an average score of 85,67
