Abstract

So'e City is one of the cities located in East Nusa Tenggara Province as the capital of South Central Timor Regency. So'e City is also one of the bus transportation routes and other public transportation as a place for passengers to go up and down from various places from inside and outside the district. So'e City is also the center of economic activity for the So'e community and outside So'e. Haumeni Terminal is one of the terminals in the city of So'e. However, the physical condition of this terminal is very worrying due to the lack of attention from the local government which has resulted in this terminal being neglected and not functioning as it should. The problem of this planning and design is how to revive the function of Haumeni Terminal in So'e City which is not being considered by the local government. The purpose of this design is to obtain a terminal building design that can provide facilities that can meet the needs of terminal activities and regulate circulation in the terminal. Haumeni Terminal is a terminal that connects between regencies where this terminal will be a stopover for public transportation or so that it has great potential and can attract the attention of prospective passengers or passengers. Therefore, architectural design is applied with a structural approach as an aesthetic element of the building. This can be an attraction at Haumeni So'e Terminal. The results obtained are, to achieve the objectives of this design, the roof structure uses a structure grid shell and is exposed as a whole. In the cover, an opening is made in the form of a skylight with an irregular pattern as natural lighting and the reflection of the shadow can give an aesthetic impression.
