Abstract

The public health center (PUSKESMAS) is a place from which researchers want to develop Web-based applications. This Community Health Center is located in Seon Village, Malacca Regency.This Puskesmas has several activities, among others; problems in handling patient cards, patient medical records, and drug records.These activities are still running and patterned manually so that often problems and obstacles in the services provided are not of high quality to patients. And also the documents that were stored were damaged. The damage in question is that the documents stored are still in the form of book keeping which are not yet based on data. To answer this problem, what needs to be made is a Patient Data Processing Application that is effective and efficient in helping, accelerating and facilitating the process of processing patient data effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the method that will be used in building this system is the waterfall method which requires systematic approaches in software development. The application to be built uses the PHP programming language and the database uses MySQL.
