Abstract
Employee performance is important for the company to achieve its goals so that employee performance deserves attention in developing the organization towards a better direction. Good employee performance is influenced by several factors such as work environment, organizational culture, compensation and job satisfaction. The formulation of the problem of this research is how respondents' perceptions of the work environment, organizational culture, compensation, employee job satisfaction and employee performance at PT. Pos Indonesia Kupang Branch, and the relationship between the work environment, organizational culture, compensation on employee performance and employee job satisfaction as an intervening variable? The population in this study were employees at PT. Pos Indonesia Kupang Branch, totaling 96 employees. The research sample was taken using the total sample method. Data were collected using a questionnaire,analyzed using descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the variables of the work environment, organizational culture, compensation, employee job satisfaction, and employee performance. It is in the very good category. So the decision is that the first hypothesis is rejected. The accepted hypothesis based on the results of inferential statistical analysis is the variable of employee job satisfaction on employee performance, work environment on employee performance, work environment on employee job satisfaction,organizational culture on employee performance, organizational culture on employee job satisfaction, compensation to employee performance, compensation on employee job satisfaction. While the rejected hypothesis is the work environment variable on employee performance, organizational culture variable on employee performance, compensation variable on employee job satisfaction.Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to the management of PT.Pos Indonesia Kupang Branch to further improve the work environment, renew organizational culture and improve compensation programs for employees.
