Abstract

Based on initial observations, it is stated that in the learning process,teachers experience difficulties in using ICT in the teaching and learning process which has not been fully optimal. Therefore, in the learning process, social studies teacher Giovani requires learning strategies, namely: planning,implementing and evaluating. The research problem is then formulated in the following questions, namely:Problem formulation (1). What is the description of learning management for social studies teachers based on information and communication technology at SMAK Giovani Kupang. (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of ICT-based social studies teacher learning management. (3) What is the solution to the barriers to teacher learning management based on information and communication technology. infrastructure as much as possible. The problem that was complained about was the difficulty of the teachers in operating ICT in the learning process before and after the activity took place. The solutions provided include: (1) Need to improve the quality of IT teachers, by providing courses or training, need to provide training or assistants who do not understand the use of IT. (2) In improving basic facilities and infrastructure, basic facilities and infrastructure. (3) It is necessary to pay attention to economically disadvantaged children, the provision of data package money. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that teachers before starting lessons should prepare, plan, implement, and evaluate to achieve effective and efficient learning.
