Abstract
The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effectiveness, problems and strategies for managing village cash direct assistance for the poor affected by covid 19 in the village of Oeltua, Taebenu District, Kupang Regency are found. the poor affected by Covid-19 in Oeltua Village, Taebenu District, Kupang Regency. The data in this study were obtained by conducting direct interviews with local village officials, poor people receiving village cash direct assistance (BLT-DD) in solving research problems, namely the inhibiting factors for the Effectiveness of Village Cash Direct Assistance for the Poor Affected by Covid -19 Oeltua Village, Taebenu District, Kupang Regency.The data analysis used in this research is descriptive. The results of the research show that the process of data collection, consolidation and verification, as well as validation and determination of results can be concluded to have not been effective, while the process of budgeting mechanisms and disbursement of direct cash assistance can be concluded to have been effective. The inhibiting factors in this research are human resources and information. Based on the results of the research, it is recommended that the village government of Oeltua need to increase cooperation between the Regency/City government, involve a volunteer team or task force, conduct socialization from the RT level and transparency in the delivery of information.
