Abstract
With the aim of providing an overview of the level of community participation in the implementation of stunting prevention programs in Maumutin Village, Raat Belu Regency,and identifying what factors influence community participation. In the implementation of stunting prevention programs. The problems formulated are: (1) how is community participation in the stunting programs in Maumutin village, Raayy district. (2) what factors influence community participation in the stunting program in Maumutin Village, Raihan District, Belu Regency. From several theories, it was found that there are severalforms or stages of participation, including: (1) participation in the form of energy. (2) participation in the form of ideas. (3) participation in the decision-making process. The implementation of the stunting prevention program in Maumutin Village is determined by three (3) important elements, namely: (1) community involvement in decisionmaking and program planning processes or the community is placed as the main subject that must determine the course of the program. (2) the involvement of individual community members to be responsible both mentally and emotionally for stunting prevention. (3) housewives provide support in the form of forms and types of participation, all of which are adapted to needs (planning, utilization, and monitoring and assessment. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the level of participation in the implementation in the implementation of stunting prevention programs in Maumutin Village, Raihat Discrict, Belu Regency. The outhor conducted research using descriptive methods. Sources of data consist of primary data obtained through interviews and obsevations. While secondary data comes from report documents, regulations related to the problem to bestudied, writings and research result regarding community participation in the implementation of stunting prevention programs. From the results of research using descriptive qualitative analysis shows that community involvement in stunting preventation planning is low. This is evident from the number of people who attended the response planning deliberations. Likewise with the involvement of the community who provide suggestions and suggestion.
