Abstract

The increasingly rapid technological progress, was influential in the development of mobile devices or mobile phones, to use mobile phones more popular in the community . In use, mobile phones can not escape from harm or damage that may be a problem despite only minor damage , because the mobile phone should be treated well. The role of a single engineer urgently needed especially for mobile phone users or owners who do not know the causes of damage and how to improve our day suffered damage cellphone. It is unfortunate if the harm caused only minor damage can be repaired itself must be conducted by the service provider for the mobile phone, while waiting for the repair process long enough and large enough costs. Based on these problems then it takes an expert system that can detect damage to the mobile phone. Damage caused by negligence of mobile phone users age of mobile phones and mobile phone devices, so should do routine checks on mobile phones in order to prevent more severe damage. The method used in this expert system is fordward method chaining with programming language used is Visual Basic 6.0, forward chaining is a search method that starts with finding the facts ie damage symptoms first mobile phone to be able to deduce what happened to damage cellphone component based a information or facts available. It is hoped that the Expert System Detecting Cellular Damage can assist the parties or the mobile phone user manual, in detecting the symptoms of damage to the cell phone, so it can be immediately handled effectively and efficiently.
