Abstract

Related to the development of the potentialof thearea both human and natural resources, there needs to be a container that can accommodate these needs so that it is able to meet diverse activities and needs in thefuture, especially intermsof government.Similarly, the object of researc hers located in Ngada Regency,which requires special attention,especially in the construction of government offices, namely the Ngada Regent's Office. The existence of problemsranging from the physical condition of the building that is not functional also the shape and appearance of the building that does not provide characteristics in the office, then the Researcher plans and redesigning the new Ngada Regent's Office building with a Vernacular Archi tectural Trans form1ation approach, which is able to display new forms by applying local elements that aread justed toclimatic conditions, but still pay attention to the applicable standards.
