Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there Effect Model Contextual Teaching And Learning on Mathematics Learning Achievement Junior High School Students. The method used is experimental research, research design is one group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this research is class VII of 20 people. The data used in this research is data pretest and posttest of the experimental class (Contextual Teaching And Learning Model) data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 manual analysis. Prior to testing hypotheses, normality test for data pretest and posttest of data, the results obtained Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.733 > 0.05 while = 0,154 (manual = 0.15) < = 0.294 thus accepted meaning H0 normal distribution of data. While data postest Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.258 > 0.05 while = 0.226 (manual = 0.2) < = 0.294 thus accepted meaning H normal distribution of data. SPSS analysis of the results obtained Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000, while = 14, 825 with df = n-1, obtained df = 19, with a significance level = 0,025 values obtained = 2, 093 Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 and = 14, 825 > = 2, 093. Under the terms t test and criteria for acceptance and rejection in Chapter III with a significant level of 5%, it can be concluded that Ho refused and Ha accepted which means no significant effect models Contextual Teaching And Learning the mathematics achievement of students of class VII SMPK Shanti Karya Kupang academic year 2015 / 2016. These results indicate that the model Contextual Teaching And Learning effect on mathematics achievement therefore the authors suggest for teachers to use the model Contextual Teaching And Learning as one of the models that are taught in class according to the material taught
