Abstract

Kefamenanu City's economic growth continues to rise. Kefamenanu City is a city that is visited by many tourists as a tourist city. The city of Kefamenanu is still overwhelmed because there are so many tourists, both domestic and foreign, who visit on weekends. Tanjung Bastian Beach is one of the places visited by many tourists, because of the large tourism potential in the Tanjung Bastian area, for that it is necessary to add a new hotel with a resort concept that functions as a place of lodging accommodation for tourists who want to travel in Kefamenanu City, especially in Tanjung Bastian Beach area. The addition of this resort hotel can further increase the accommodation capacity for tourists traveling in Kefamenanu City. A comfortable and healthy resort hotel environment requires the application of the concept of ecological architecture that can support the creation of this environment. An ecological architectural approach that prioritizes environmentally friendly designs and blends with nature through 6 ecological points including preserving natural resources, managing air, soil and water, using energy efficient building systems, using local materials, minimizing negative impacts on nature, and increasing exhaust gas absorption. The results of design research regarding the design of this resort hotel may be a useful reference by applying the concept of ecological architecture.
