Abstract

The state is formed based on a social contract, namely the consensus of individuals that allows them to live together in harmony and peace. This contract is not directed to the personal interests of individuals alone but is directed to the common good or the public interest. In this consensus, citizens give up all their freedom to be regulated by the state. There is a transition from a state of nature which is identical with individual rights to a political state which is identical to the state of sociality. In return, the state provides guarantees for justice and legal protection to citizens.
