Abstract
The development of Geographic Information System (GIS) applications has been widely carried out and has brought changes in various fields of people's lives in Indonesia. The use of GIS from year to year is increasing because GIS can help all activities in various fields. However, its development from year to year is not much different. This can be seen from the overlapping research on it. Anything that has not been discussed from previous researchers becomes the question of this research. For this reason, a systematic literature study will raise WEB-based GIS research so that it can be a reference or recommendation for new researchers in contributing to WEB-based GIS development. This research is literate in the last 3 years, namely from 2019 to 2021 what things have been done by previous researchers and look for gaps that have not been solved. Based on research conducted on 200 literatures, it was found that there are 15 fields of GIS that have been developed in 31 provinces in Indonesia using 13 types of development tools.
