Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the description of regional original income and regional expenditure in Belu Regency, (2) to determine the effect of regional original income on regional expenditure in Belu Regency. This study uses quantitative data types, namely the types of data collected in the form of numbers or numbers such as data on Regional Original Income and Government Expenditures. The source of data in this study is secondary data in the form of regional financial statistical reports in Belu Regency, namely the last 10 years from 2011-2020. The sample used in this study is the report on the Realization of the Regional Original Revenue and Expenditures of the Belu Regency Government in 2011-2020. Data collection is done by documentation and literature study.This research was then processed using SPSS and analyzed using regression analysis techniques with three tests, namely 1) Classical Assumption Test, 2) Hypothesis Testing and 3) Simple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that local revenue and government expenditures have increased. The results showed that the constant value was -1,396, the regression coefficient value was 7.747 while the determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.705 or 70.5% while 29.5% was influenced by other factors and the results of the T test showed that Regional Original Income obtained tcount ≥ ttable ( 4,368 > 1,895) with a significant value of 0.002 < 0.05. This means that partially Local Original Income has a significant effect on Government Expenditures in Belu Regency in 2011-2020.
