Abstract

Environmental problems from year to year are increasingly complex along with the pace of development as a consequence of the increasing number of people in the word, especially in urban areas, one of the problems that occurs on the Oesapa highway which is the socio-economic center has an influence on the smootheness of traffic, it is necessary to conduct resesrch the intends to increase knowleadge and understanding of the land use patterns, carring capacity and carrying capacity and the impact of variations on land use on the carrying capacity and capacity of the area. Thus, it can be seen that the consequences of land use changes causing congestion, increasing land use capacity, causing side barriers, degree of saturation, level of pollutants. Thus,it is necessary to make observation with the traffic counting method and tthe MKJI 1997( Road capacity manual 1997) and ministerial regulation No. 75 of 2015. From these methols the data obtained from the obsevation are : the number of vehocles, side barriers, land use patterns, road geometry, pollutant levels, degree of saturation and level of sevice.the data is processed to find out the problems that can be obtained from the results of observation where changes in land use have a very significant influence on the carrying and carrying capacity of the area.
