Abstract

The keyboard is a musical instrument that is played like a piano, Only the keyboard can play various sounds such as trumpet, flute, guitar, violin to various percussions. How to play keyboard musical instrument is to press the keys on the keyboard. The Keyboard is one of the school’s musical instruments that must be studied in high school learning and is usally developed through extracurricular activities. The main problem in this study is how to apply good and correct basic fingering techniques in playing the basic C bolelebo song for students of keyboartd interest in class XA SMK Negeri Noemuti using the drill method.The researcher formulated the problem that became the focus of the research, namely how to take the right steps in applying the basic fingering technique on thr keyboard in playing the bolelebo song on the C basic note. Bolelebo basic tone C for students of keyboard interest in the SMK Negeri Seo class using the drill method. This study uses a qualitatiive aproach, the method used is field action, research with data collection techniques used, namely library research,and field studies consisting of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects study were students of class XA SMK Negeri Noemuti. This study focused on problems related to basicfingering techniques in playing a keyboard musical instrument preoperly and correctly. The data were obtained through data collection technuques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the method used in the application of the basic techniques on the keyboard in playing the Bolelebo song with the basic tone C on the students of interest in the keyboard of class SMK Negeri Noemuti is using the drill.
