Abstract

Job promotion is a kind of reward for employee’s dedication and hardwork. This matter also applies for government bureaucracy organization specifically in Youth Sport and Education Department of East Nusa Tenggara. However, there must be assessment to make promotion for an employee who willaccopied the position. It becomes important because it will influence the work capability of an institution. In this research, software development method used is waterfall. Whereas decision support system (DSS) used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which easier in use, and Delphi 7.0 as programming language and MySQL as the database. This research results a decision support system (DSS) application of Youth Sport and Education Department of East Nusa Tenggara chief Division election which capable to give objective assessment for every chief division candidates and giving result accord with the highest quality.
