Abstract

Guided inquiry approach is one of the approaches in the learning process where learning a lot of interference from the teacher. Teachers many direct and provide guidance to the learners either through the full procedure and questions briefing during the proceedings. The main problem in this research is: how do the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016? Specifically problem in this research are: (1) How is the teacher's ability to manage the learning process by applying a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016? (2) How completeness indicators of student learning outcomes by implementing a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016? (3) How mastery learning outcomes of students by implementing a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on learners' class Class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016? (4) How is the response of students to the learning activities with guided inquiry approach the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016?. The goal of this research is to describe how the result of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016. In detail the purpose of this study as follows: (1) Describe the teacher's ability to manage the learning process by applying a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016. (2) Describe the completeness indicator of student learning outcomes by implementing a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on learners' class Class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016. (3) Describe the learning outcomes of students by implementing a guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016. (4) Describe the response of students to the implementation of learning activities with guided inquiry approach the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta .Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016. This research is descriptive research. Subjects in this study were teachers (researchers) and students of class VIII-F first semester SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Academic Year 2015/2016 totaling 28 people. The technique used to collect data in this study are: observation, tests and questionnaires. The instruments used were: learning by observation sheet management approach guided inquiry, achievement test (THB) and form a response learners. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique which includes the calculation of the average score, proportions and percentages. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the data showed that the general application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of the pressure on the students of class VIII-F SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang totaling 28 people is optimal. In detail obtained the teacher's ability to manage learning yangg include: planning, implementation and evaluation of learning is included in both categories. Indicators of learning outcomes (IHB) prepared as much as 10 grains of product achievement indicators, 6 indicators of achievement of the process, 6 indicators of achievement of affective and psychomotor 3 indicators of achievement all be completed. Achievement test (THB) students for achievement test product, process, affective and psychomotor everything is be completed and the response of students to the activities of the implementation of learning which include: preliminary event, the core activities, the activities cover, the allocation of time and the atmosphere of the class are all in category good.
