Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is a parent economic effect on the achievement of students' mathematics learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parents' economics on the achievement of learning mathematics students of SMP. This type of research is quantitative research and statistical analysis used is simple regression analysis. Data analysis performed using SPSS 22.00 for windows and manual analysis as comparison. From the output of SPSS 22 for windows, based on the normality test, linearity test and simple regression of the parents economy have an influence on the achievement of learning mathematics. In simple regression analysis, the economics of parents have an influence on the achievement of learning mathematics, and obtained simple regression equation Y = 30,204 + 0,718X and at t test with significant value 0,005
