Abstract

This research aims to knowing implementation of learning with realistic mathematics education (RME) learning, and to knowing students achievement mathematics learning and to knowing whether there is effect of realistic mathematics education (RME) learning on achievement mathematics learning students for topic discussion social aritmatica in class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. This research was a descriptif kuantitatif study with the one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research is students class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang which the numbered of students are 30 people. The instrument used including an achievement test and observation shit. Data used in this research are pretest and posttest value data from experiment class with realistic mathematics education (RME) learning. The data obtained will analysed using SPSS program 22.0 version. The test was analysed by normality test with using one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov and hypothesis testing using paired sample test, after the data were analysed obtained value Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 and tcount = 13,736 > 2,045 = ttable . The result of this research are: (1) implementation of learning with realistic mathematics education (RME) learning in class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro have good category; (2) students achievement mathematics learning after with used realistic mathematics education (RME) learning have good categories; (3) that there significant effect realistic matematics learning onachievement mathematics learning student for topic discussion social aritmatica in class VII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang City academic year 2017/2018. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers to used the realistic mathematics education (RME) learning was in the class according to the teaching material.
