Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence Learning Model Project Against Missouri Mathematics Mathematics Problem Solving Ability students. The sample in this study are students of SMP Negeri 5 VIIc classes totaling 30 people. Data used in the study of the data value of pretest and posttest of the experimental class taught by using Missouri Mathematics Instructional Model Project. To determine the ability of student mathematics problem solving problem-solving tests consist of three items of description, hereinafter dianlisis by step - step mathematical problem solving Polya according to data obtained and compared between pre-test and post-test and analyzed using SSPS program version 20.0. Before testing the hypotheses, test is test normalits prerequisite for data pretest and posttest of data. From the analysis of data to pretest values obtained Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and then accepted, thus concluded the data were normally distributed. While on the data values obtained posttest Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and then accepted, thus concluded the data were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using Paired Samples Test, having analyzed the data obtained value Sig. (2-tailed) =0.000 <=, Reject, so that concluded no influence Learning Model Missouri Mathematics Project Maths Problem Solving Ability Of Junior High School 5th grade students VIIc. These results indicate thatMissouri Mathematics Instructional Model Project effect on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability Junior High School 5th grade students VIIc. Based on these results, the authors suggested for teachers to make Missouri Mathematics Instructional Model Project as an alternative to be used in the learning process of mathematics.
