Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of learning facilities and learning styles on math achievements VIII grade of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang. This type of research is quantitative research using multiple regression analysis techniques. The population included in this study are all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kupang consisting of seven class and research samples,namely class sampling techniques were randomly selected. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and math performance tests. Data analysis was performed using 22.0 SPSS for Windows. From the output of SPSS 22.0 for Windows, based on tests of normality, linearity and multikollinearitas, learning facilities and learning style has an impact on math perfomance. In multiple regression analysis of learning facilities and learning styles have an impact on mathematics performance, and the regression equation Y = and value of F = 4,027 3,42 = Ftabel Ho then rejected, which means that the influence from learning facilities and learning styles for learnung mathematics students class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kupang. Based on the output results of SPSS 22.0 for Windows, F-Test's learning facilities and learning styles affect the learning performance of mathematics and through t-test, learning style affecting mathematics performance learning while learning learning facilities had no effect on math performance. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that there was a significant influence between learning facilities and learning styles on mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang.
