Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is the effect of learning styles and learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement on the subject line Barisan and series class XI SMA Negeri 3 Kota Kupang 2017/2018 academic year which amounted to 45 people. The data used in this research is the data of the achievement of learning and questionnaire / questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 22 program. Prior to hypothesis testing, prerequisite test was performed on normality test for achievement data and questionnaire or questionnaire. In this case if the calculation results show significant (2-tailed) < 0.05 H0 is rejected. From the results of data analysis achievement obtained Asymp.Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0,200 > 0,05 then H0 is accepted, thus it is concluded that the data is normally distributed. Whereas from learning style questionnaire data obtained by Asymp Sig value (2-tailed) = 0,200 > 0,05, then H0 received and from questionnaire data of learning motivation obtained by Asymp Sig value (2-tailed) = 0,200 > 0,05 then H0 accepted thereby concluded normal distributed data. Multiple linear regression equation from result of research that is Y = 49,313 + 0,412 X1 + 0,415 X2 Hypothesis testing using partial test, after learning style data were analyzed obtained tcount = 3,561 > 1,681 = ttable and significant value at learning style = 0,001 < 0,05 then H0 accepted, which mean learning style have a significant effect to learning achievement. While the data of learning motivation is analyzed obtained tcount = 4,866 > 1,681 = ttabel with significant value = 0,000 < 0,05 then H0 accepted, which means learning motivation significantly influence on learning achievement. Hypothesis testing using simultaneous test, after data analyzed obtained sig value (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 and Fcount = 16,995 > 3,22 = Ftable then receive H0. So it is concluded there is a significant the effect of learning styles and learning motivation on the achievement of mathematics learning students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 Kota Kupang academic year 2017/2018.
